Ps3 Controller – Much Better Than The Sixaxis

This is the controller that the PS3 should have had from the start. The Sixaxis controller can’t compare to it. Besides having the rumble capabilities, the PS3 Controller Dualshock 3 weighs about 40% more and feels much more solid than the Sixaxis. Battery life is excellent. I charge it every couple of weeks. If you own a PS3, then this is the controller to have.

I purchased this as a present for my husband, and am mostly happy with what I have. As many reviews have stated, Dualshock is a much better experience for playing games than the original sixaxis.

My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a USB cord to charge it. That being said, the great thing about PS3 is that it isn’t proprietary and will take any usb cord.

Overall, a good purchase.

I’d always been an XBox guy. One of the things I preferred about the XBox compared to the Playstation was the controller. It’s got a big, meaty controller that fills out your hands nicely, while I always felt like previous Playstation controllers felt light, cheap and flimsy. Well, a couple months ago, I bought a PS3.

I needed a Blu-ray player and I figured I might as well spend a little extra and get a gaming system with it too. What I like about the PS3 Controller DualShock Sixaxis is that it’s a little heavier than previous controllers, and it just feels solid and sturdy in your hands. The buttons are nice and responsive, and they’re well-placed from an ergonomic standpoint. Highly recommended.
